Steering Column Adjustment Levers

Situation

Tier 1 supplier to auto OEM sought vinyl plastisol applicator with sufficient experience and capacity to apply finish to steering column adjustment lever.

 

Approach

Working closely with the tier 1 supplier Wright Coating developed a process applying our computer controlled plastisol dip capability.

Result

To date several thousand coated levers have been produced with a drip free, consistent textured finish that meets the auto OEM’s strict quality and appearance requirements.
