Situation
Upon introducing their premium convertible roadster, the manufacturer discovered that the clasp holding the roof in position would rattle while the vehicle was operating. Not only was the noise unacceptable but they wanted to be certain the solution did not affect the roadster’s esthetics.
Approach
Wright Coating developed a precise application of plastisol that provided both excellent appearance and sound dampening while remaining within severe cost constraints.
Result
Durable coating applied to the metal bracket eliminates rattle while meeting customer’s appearance standards.
