BSR in Folding Third Seat

Situation

Metal-to-metal contact at attachment points creates squeak in foldaway seat. The squeak occurs whether the seat is in open or closed position.

 

Approach

Using their computer-controlled dipping operation, Wright Coating consistently and precisely places plastisol at the contact points. The resultant coating provides both self lubrication and sound dampening.

Result

The third seat no longer squeaks when opened or closed.
